Both the PC base and POM valve body are critical components that must be assembled with electronic devices to ensure complete circulation. These devices are specifically designed for medical applications, prioritizing environmental protection, structural rigidity, and insulation. While injection molding is common for mass production, vacuum casting and CNC milling processes are utilized for rapid prototyping and low-volume production to optimize time and cost.
The primary technical challenge involves the complex runner system within the valve body, which includes straight and inclined holes. Due to the nature of POM material, it is prone to deformation. Ensuring that six non-linear holes across the upper and lower sections connect perfectly is a high-difficulty task. With upper hole sizes at 8mm and lower holes at 6mm, we utilize 5 different location rotations during machining to achieve precision.
