Advanced Engineering: Process Optimization & Technical Horizons

As the demand for complex mechanical systems grows, CNC machining must continuously evolve. At Creatingtec, we utilize modern tooling strategies to improve accuracy while reducing manufacturing times. By using high-speed, synchronized machine paths, we can create complex geometries and thin-walled parts without causing thermal warping or stress issues.

We are also focused on implementing sustainable production practices. By using minimal quantity lubrication (MQL) systems, we lower our reliance on conventional cutting fluids, reducing our environmental impact. At the same time, we recycle over 95% of our aluminum chips, creating a closed-loop system that supports sustainable raw material sourcing.

Additionally, we work closely with material suppliers to source specialized aluminum grades, helping our customers design stronger, lighter, and more durable components. By combining advanced metallurgical expertise with strict production workflows, we are ready to support your engineering requirements now and in the future.

Engineering & Machining FAQs

Frequently asked questions concerning raw materials, design guidelines, tolerances, and quality controls.

1. What are the typical tolerances achievable for ODM aluminum parts?

Our standard machining tolerance is +/-0.02mm (0.0008 inches). For high-precision applications, we can achieve tolerances down to +/-0.005mm (0.0002 inches) under controlled temperatures. Critical dimensions are verified using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and digital vision systems to ensure full design compliance.

2. How do you ensure surface finish quality and prevent tool marks on structural parts?

We manage tool wear carefully and optimize cutting speeds to maintain high surface quality. Depending on your needs, we offer multiple post-processing treatments. Options include bead blasting (to create a smooth, matte texture), anodizing Type II and Type III (for wear and corrosion resistance), powder coating, and electroless nickel plating.

3. What raw materials do you support besides aluminum alloys?

While high-performance aluminum grades (6061, 7075, 5052, 6082, 2024) are our primary materials, we also machine titanium, stainless steel (304, 316, 17-4 PH), copper, brass, and industrial plastics such as PMMA, POM (Delrin), PEEK, and polycarbonate to meet diverse project requirements.

4. How does your DFM feedback process work?

Our engineers perform a Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review for every project. We look for deep internal pockets, thin walls, tight inner corner radii, and hard-to-machine features. Suggesting minor adjustments helps reduce tool setup times and material waste, allowing us to lower production costs while keeping your parts functional and high quality.

5. Can you support low-volume production runs as well as mass production?

Yes, we are highly flexible. We support low-volume runs (1 to 100 parts) for functional testing and certification, as well as rapid tooling, die casting, or multi-cavity injection molding for high-volume production of tens of thousands of parts. This balance allows you to manage tooling costs and scale up efficiently.
